Round 1 is done (almost) and 64 players are drowing their sorrows in champs and berries.
In the grand scheme of things, that doesn't suck.
I just really dig that dress on Dani. Way to save Adidas, girl.
Yeah, you fuck that air, Daveed. Vamos!
The Architect Of My Discontent. Like, 15 times over.
Aw, shit. Game on.
And by "Game On" I mean, "I'm leaving Wimbledon drunk, poor, and working off my debt owed to Pimmy by doing things that I dare not write on a blog that my parents read."

A really rough day for the Armada, as JCF lost in five to Robbie "Wait, You're American?" Ginepri, and Daveed bounced in straights by DoucheStamp, who makes the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time of his 10-year career. And Fernando was pushed to five sets for four hours by PEHK.
I mean...JCF and Daveed are out? OUT???
But...WHY???
A-Rod must be ordering a hit at T-Gabs seeing a how his portion of the draw just got ridiculously cake.

"So then this guy named Christian something opens the door and they all go inside..."
Oh don't be coy. It doesn't suit you.
Do they have Rockette's in the UK?
This used to be funny. It's kinda not anymore.
Oh, Cone. I miss you.
More after the jump.

A-Rod survived a weird five-setter over Niemenen. While his groundies and serve didn't look too rusty, his strategy and tactics clearly were. The guy hasn't played a clay court match prior to RG and it's clear that he's going to need time to see the court better. Good news for him: his draw has opened up with Pico surprise loss to a qualifier who has never played an ATP tour event. Sadz, Pico.
Call me naive (no, really, don't), but I'd be surprised if Andy didn't make it through to the fourth round. I just don't see anyone in his 1/8th challenging him.
Then again, it's clay, and as Fed has so generously pointed out, anything can happen.
And keep an eye on JCF for reasons other than his general hotness. With Sam the Tank's loss, JCF, who beat Cuevas 4 3 and 1, has a pretty clear path to the fourth round. And with a potential quarterfinal against Nole, all I have to say is hmmmm....
And yuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm.

It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Walk with me.
Gisela! It's singles! Flavi's not there. Focus!
"So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to hit more to his forehand, like high topspin, and push him back behind the baseline. Then I'm going hit this shot, have you heard of it? It's called a forehand drop shot. Anyway, apparently it works on clay. I just figured this out. Yeah, I know, I'm brilliant. So like I was saying..."

The Armada did their thing again, posing for wet and shirtless for Spanish Elle.
What can we conclude?
(2) Jeans > Sarongs. I mean, I know we call him Florence but putting him in a skirt was just wrong.
(3) As much as anyone with a brain hates Abercrombie, we have to thank them for introducing the hip-crack to the world. Because seriously, it is a glorious thing.
I honestly don't know what to make of this picture. All I know is that the sarong should not be there. And I don't even mean that in a "OOH! LET'S LOOK AT NEKKID FER!" way. It is wet, it is clingy, it is see through, and it is gross.
Even Tommy's pointing and laughing.
It's really the pink flops that elevate this picture from "Daveed contemplates the meaning of life" to "Shit. What the hell happened last night..." awesomeness.

And I think that designated person should be me.
I can't even look at you right now.
Oh, Richie. There's always something to laugh at.
*whispers* Ross knows it's not Wimbledon, right?
By the way, lookin' good, kid. That accidental bouffant suits you.

Tennis TV did an interview with JCF, wherein he answered fan questions. Our very own Maz got her question picked. Creeeeeeeeeeepy.
Um, also, JCF is hot.

JCF was en fuego in South America this month, winning back to back tournaments over some pretty stiff competition (heh). He took out Daveed in three hard-fought sets in Argentina, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
He was pretty excited about it.
Either that or he just saw an advanced copy of the Shakira video.
More JCF pic spam. It's cheaper than a site redesign:
I like very much the things that are going on in these pictures.
