It takes a lot for me to care about World Team Tennis. I genuinely don't understand it, I don't get the scoring system, I don't get why it's so noisy, I don't get how it makes any money, I don't get any of it. In fact, I generally tend to ignore it completely regardless of the haps. But I suppose Chucky and Serena sharing a laugh on court probably counts as a relevant hap.
People seem really excited about the prospect of her return to the tour, given that whole mixed-doubles thing. Is it ok if I'm not excited? Does it make me a bad fan? Do I care? I just...Chucky was a big reason I stopped watching tennis in the 90s so seeing her squinty face just brings back bad memories of when I kiiiiiiiiiiiiind of hated watching tennis.
So please pardon me if I generally ignore all this Hingis stuff until it actually becomes a thing that can no longer be ignored. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
Oh, Serena jumped over a net. Didn't cry though. So as per usual, you are wrong, Janko.
