You sir, are literally the only American player for whom I always root. So this really bums me out.
The Big Man was up a set and a break on Mardy Fish and even had two championship points, at least one of which on his racquet. But he couldn't convert and once again fell to a fellow American in a tournament final, this time in his home state of Georgia, looking completely gassed in the process. Bums me out. I actually like him.
Oh, and it was hot. And Halpert has tiny nips. Information I probably could have done without.
