Required Reading

• Once you get past the necessary "setting of the table" rehash of the Serbian lore, the stuff from Janko and about the current state of Serbian tennis is really great.
• "I suppose sports psychologists can help you with this, too, but they have not been there and done it and I prefer to listen to someone who has."  That speaks volumes.
• The forgotten Belgian.  Or at least I wish.
• DT defends Sam, voices need for Fed Cup reform.
• Moose had a sad in Indian Wells.
• Fed is down a set and a break to Melzer right now. Which means this may be a bit moot.
• I really do enjoy these Rallies.  This time they talk tennis and footie.
• Is there anything more confusing than the rules regarding Olympic eligibility as it relates to Fed Cup and Davis Cup participation?
• The Women's Sports Foundation's groundbreaking program, It Takes a Team, which focused on homophobia in sports, is shutting down due to budget cuts.  Damn shame.
• Non-Required Reading: It's Record Store Day on Saturday so head down to your nearest independent music shop and buy yourself some actual, physical, smells so good you want to eat it pieces of music.  And for those who don't see the value in Records and CDs anymore, this guy has something to say about it.
• Non-Required Reading: If you read nothing else this weekend, read this New Yorker piece.  It's nuts.
• Non-Required Viewing: HOW AMAZING IS THIS GUY???
• Non-Required Reading: Can people PLEASE stop buying Chris Brown records or tuning in to see him if he's ever on TV.  PLEASE. 
• Non-Required Reading: Maria Bustillos spent four days with David Foster Wallace's personal self-help library.  Her write up is absolutely bow-down fantastic.  If you have an interest in DFW at all, read it.
