...the bad news is...yeah.
The Ladies draw for Indian Wells is out, and I should have known it wasn't going to turn out great the minute I saw pictures of Coco at the draw ceremony. Hrmph.
Some quick observations:
- FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
- Ana and JJ have been drawn into the quarter of death. Ana could have Kimiko --> Petra --> JJ. JJ could get, well, Petra.
- Sam and Masha could meet in the quarters if they both get their heads out their asses and make it that far, which they should, though the winner would get Kim (boo!).
- Petko's got a tough draw, potentially getting Lucie --> Mono --> Kim.
- Fran and Pavs could meet in the quarters, as could Sveta and Nails.
- Kim and Caro look pretty safe with Bepa being drawn into Kim's half. Caro wouldn't have to play her until the final and Kim matches up well against her. It's always a bit more exciting when Bepa gets put on Caro's side.
