Caught Sam's practice session yesterday. I was quite curious to see a preview of Dave's gameplan.
It basically involved a lot of slicing. At least that's what they were working on.
I really love watching Dave and Sam work. She was getting frustrated, he offered some minor adjustments, she incorporated them immediately, and all was well again.
You don't see that often. Most times players hear their coaches tips but just keep doing what they were doing, or in some cases, the coaches don't offer any tips at all. At least not immediately.
And now I will close with actual photo evidence that Sam does laugh.
Dave almost hit someone with a shanked return. Sam giggled:
