Serbia had to withdraw from the Hopman Cup final (Belgium will take their spot) because Ana's got an abdominal tear, suffered during her match against Justine, which has also forced her out of Sydney next week. Fran had to retire from her match with a groin injury. Robbie had to fight a right glute injury in her loss to Bethanie, which forced her to withdraw from mixed doubles and puts her qualifying campaign for AO, which starts next week, in jeopardy.
All this and Shveddy wound up in the OR after her first match with a torn meniscus that required surgery.
