In "Oh my God, are you guys for seriously" news, Roger actually drove to the airport to pick up Rafa fo the first leg of their back-to-back charity events. Celebrities, they're just like us!
Well, actually, Fed rolled up in a Mercedes SLS AMG and Rafa arrived on a private jet. So actually no, Celebrities are not at all like any of us.
The "match" (can we call it that?) was absolute boresville, with the players predictably taking it the full three sets. Rafa gave Fed the first break in the third by playing two really horriffic back-to-back points that you would simply never see him do in real match play.
But that's all fine. The crowd was sold out, they seemed to like what they saw, no one got hurt, and they raised over $1M for Fed's Africa charity. Success!
Now they'll turn around and do the same thing in Madrid tomorrow.
