- The previously unknown Allison Riske, who is primed for some pretty pun-tastic headlines if she ever makes it big, had herself a run at Birmingham.

- Rob Green made a whoopsie and the Americans were running Queens. It was a rough weekend for the Brits.
- As was her wont this year, Masha made a run and lost in the final.
- Nole won a dubs title!
- DOMINIKA CIBULKOVA SUCKS AND I HATE HER.
- Elena withdrew from Wimby.
- The WTA Player Party was awesome. Also, Fernando was there. Natch.
