In what was probably the best match of the tournament so far (and most dramatic, I'd say), Bepa was able to keep clawing back from being a break down to overtake a frustrated Vika, 76 64. I tuned in towards the end of the first set and all know is that Vika looked on the verge of tears, her grunt has somehow gotten even longer than it used to be, and Vera was monologuing like a champ, muttering and gesticulating like she had the lead in Hamlet.
Yeah, it was awesome, guys.
So Vera moves to 2-0 in the white group and still has a mathematical chance to catch the year-end #1. She basically has to run the table and win the championship and Caro has to lose her next two.
Oh, what's that? You say there's absolutely no way Vera can do it?
