Well after much insanity and, well, let's face it, genuine concern over how this event would come off, the Commonwealth Games wrapped up with a little bit of something for everyone. Somdev gave the host nation something to cheer about as he picked up the gold in singles, and Anastasia kept the Aussie's happy with a gold in singles and doubles (with Sally Peers) and silver in mixed doubles.
Sania took the silver (nice to see her back), and Sally Peers bookended things with the bronze. Oi, Oi, and whatnot.
In men's dubs, Peter Lukzak and Paul Hanely beat Rosco and Ken Skupski for the gold, with homeboys Leander and Mahesh taking the bronze for India.
And in the surprising result of the week, Scotland's Jocelyn Rae and Colin Fleming teamed up to take the gold in mixed in only their fourth match together. Hanley and Anastasia took silver and the hopefully-no-longer-concussed Sarah Borwell and Ken Skupski took the bronze.
Props to all the athletes. It couldn't have been the most stress-free week but from all the quotes and the tweets it sounds like they had the time of their lives. High fives all around.
But seriously. Where's the cobra?
