I had to run some errands in the morning so I missed out on Gonzo getting ousted by Steps in straight sets. Super bummed about that. But I did catch a bit of Tommy vs. Taylor out on Grandstand, which was interrupted by rain a few times. Taylor is a BIG boy. He did well to hold his serve for most of the match, giving Tommy fits with his one-hander down the line. I missed the end (I had to go settle in for some Hammer Time), but Tommy eventually pulled it out.
Good job, Tommy. Glad you didn't get distracted by Taylor's moobs. I mean, I know Taylor's a big boned guy, but he makes Nalby look like the Daniela Hantuchova of the ATP. And I think it's only fair to point this out considering I call Dave "fat" all the time. Taylor definitely looked like he had put on a few pounds since I saw him last at Indian Wells.
