Holy crap. Steph and I were sure that MaZheng were going to get their asses handed to them by Stubbs/Raymond. But no. They were able to get some early breaks in each set and hold on for a straight set win. And they were adorable as ever about it.
I believe that MaKiri plans to partner up with Vika in Cincy and then
get back with Aga for the USO. I mean, that's what she said at her
presser last week in Stanford. But gosh, these two seem to have a lot
of fun with each other and despite any language barrier, they seem to
have great doubles chemistry.
Here's hoping they team up again. Because seriously, everyone should get a chance to watch these two play. They're so positive!
