Ruh Roh. Here we go again. Rafa went all Youznhy on his knees during a changover in his semifinal loss to A-Rod and apparently he was saying "I can't! The knee! The knee!" either to himself or his box. You can see it at the 1.20 mark in the video.
So...that's awesome. He poured all that energy into back-to-back semifinal appearances on the American hardcourts, only to go into clay, where he has a shitload of points to defend, possibly hobbled with knee issues. Oh yeah, and then there's that little thing we call Wimbledon.
Rafa, I'm pretty sure that for $525,000 some backalley doctor in Mexico can build and install a bionic knee for you. And I've got a friend in San Diego who is more than happy to let you rest and rehab on her couch. All I'm saying is that I know some people. Let's talk, buddy.
