I get that no one likes Muzzard except for me, a small handful of enlightened folk around the globe, and Brits for two weeks out of the year. But you can't hate on his mom, Judy, if for no other reason than that she might possibly be the *best* tennis blogger out there.
Some gems from her recent blogs in Monte Carlo:
I joined the accreditation queue behind a bevy of Spaniards. Yes I do mean to use the word bevy as it included ‘Deliciano’ Lopez and Fernando Verdasco. Not the worst queue I've ever been in. It took about ten minutes more than it should have because the girls behind the accreditation desk loved the view. I wasn't complaining either.

I came down in the lift with Papa Verdasco and Marin Cilic. Both huge guys but in different ways, if you know what I mean. And get this - the lifts have seats. How posh is that?

Meanwhile, back to the MCCC. The dining tables were out on the terrace above centre court (they weren't there on Sunday because rain was forecast) so the great and good of Monaco were out in force and clattering and chattering their way through lunch during the Deliciano-Birdman match. I mean Lopez-Berdych. Easy win for Birdman. Lopez looking good but couldn't say the same for his tennis.

So the boys managed to get the win over Cermak-Mertinak who finished last year at 5 in the world I think. Now they face the Bryans! Should be fun. Hope they don't try any of that chest bumping because Ross could be world No.1 at sweating and he's always soaking wet! Gross.

I went back to the hotel to swim again and Andy went off to do press, hoping that he would be allowed to focus on the clay season and not on the
Davis Cup captain announcement.David Nalbandian was in the pool with a very natty pair of bright orange shorts. But then Treacle (Matt Little) and Miles appeared - straight into the jacuzzi. Major water displacement. Time for a sharp exit.
I will forever kick myself for not coming up with "Deliciano". I shake my fist at you, Awesome Judy Murray!
Thanks to gauloises at New Balls, Please for reminding me about the blog. It doesn't have an RSS feed so I forget to check it.
