Anyway, A-Rod recovered nicely from his fashion mishap earlier in the week to take the title over Steps. Meanwhile, the women were starting first round action in Sydney and Hobart, and since only the top two seeds (Serena and Dinara) get byes in Sydney, there's plenty of chances for people to (almost) lose very early.
