Seriously, I forgot there were still men's finals today, since all the other tournaments started already.  The runup to Australia is insane.

It's especially confusing when you have two combined events back to back and the schedules are different.  Don't be playing me like that, Brisbane and Sydney.  Anyway, A-Rod recovered nicely from his fashion mishap earlier in the week to take the title over Steps.  Meanwhile, the women were starting first round action in Sydney and Hobart, and since only the top two seeds (Serena and Dinara) get byes in Sydney, there's plenty of chances for people to (almost) lose very early.

Australia always just looks hot to me.  I've never seen sun that bright.  Yipes.
