The LA Tennis Open starts tomorrow, with a strong draw anchored by Dinara, Bepa, Vika, and Boots. Ana and Maria will also make notable (but probably brief) appearances. Here's the draw.
Interesting potential matchups: Boom Boom vs. Dani (1st Rd), Sorana vs. Burrito (1st Rd), Boots vs. Sorana/Burrito (2nd Rd), Dinara vs. Boom Boom (2nd Rd), and Vika vs. Masha (2nd Rd).
Of course Ana and Dina are in the same quarter. I'll head down to LA for the semifinal/finals weekend, and yes, I know, there's no way I was going to see Ana, but still, it bums me out that they're in the same quarter.
