Inspired by the insightful and elaborate tweeting of the likes of Serena Williams, Carrie and Sodapop have been keeping their minions (like, 7 minions to be exact) abreast of the goings on in Toronto. For those of you who don't have Twitter, well, far be it from me to let technology bar you from seeing the tournament through their beer goggles.

Carrie:
- Franny has the most distressing grunt ever. It sounds like she's about to come kill you. Or she's being eaten by a dinosaur.
- Someone just drank a Corona super fast and is now imitating the Franny grunt. I'm not naming names. Except it might be @lexid981
- Elena Vesnina has a very kung fu sound effect going on her grunt: "HEE YUH!"
- Sveta just chest trapped a ball on warmup. Awesome.
- The tennis is not very challenging, so Sveta is choosing to use this match to demonstrate her mad futbol skillz.
- Kader Nouni calling this match is definitely going to be the highlight. Unless Nadia wins, then that'll be the highlight.
- Ughhhh, Nadia is psychotically error-prone. Why am I sitting through this?
- Found the Tims! Our trip to TO is complete.
- Seriously, there is someone's hitting partner on the 35 local w us to get to Rexhall.
- Scored first row tix from a fellow Queen's grad for Thurs nite. Watch it be someone we hate.
- At Nadia/Beth practice. Nadia just tried to have a bit of a hit against the fence. Uh.
- The pink shirt is back!
- The on-court flirting at a certain someone's practice is a little out of control.
- Dinara just stayed on her practice court and cleaned up the huge water bottle mess left by Team Wozniacki/Radwanska. Adorable.
- Holy shit! K Bond takes out Venus!
- Q: "When did you start to believe you could win this match?" K Bond: "When it was 5-4."
- Centre Court really cleared out before Kleybs/Wozniak. You people call yourselves Canadians?
- In other news, 2 days back here and I'm already back to spelling it "centre", apparently.
- There have been like 2 games in this match so far that didn't go multiple deuces. & it's not because it's such a scintillating match, either
- Flavs's coach is about to come out for the match... but he's gotta finish his cigarette first.
- Flavia/Makiri 700,000% better than Wozniak/Kleybs.
- As would be expected, Flavia won set point in an unbelievably badass way.
- We're sitting in front of some really intense Elena Baltacha fans. Or Kimmie haters. Is Pete Bodo here?
- Eva Adseraki turning and glaring at loud (drunk) members of the audience has made this match even more awesome than it already was.
- I'll be honest. I'm not proud of myself, but ever since the French, I find Sveta losing kind of funny. (sigh) It's not personal, I swear.
Sodapop
- Canada. My home and native land. Or whatever the song says. Okay, so it's not actually my home. Whatever. Smells....friendly.

- Based on their outfits you would think Sam and Sveta were all set for an intense practice session.
- Announcer just promoted tomorrow's night session but telling us to come see "the number 2 player in the world, Serena Williams." Snicker.
