Is there any more perfect way to end the clay season than with a French Open final between the two players who've shared the major clay titles?
Both of them have had amazing tournaments, dominating their first four rounds and coming through tough matches with harder opponents. I know a lot of people wanted the Serena/Dinara ultimate showdown, and that would have been a just finale in its own way, but for this part of the tennis season, this really has to be the best ending-- the year's two best clay court players battling it out for the biggest clay title of the year.
It may not be a great match-- Sveta's had three 3-setters in a row, Dinara's sick, and they've both got a touch of the cah-razy. But it's a great ending to Roland Garros.
