I've been noticing a very disconcerting trend among tennis reporting over the past year or so.
Why in the world does the British press insist on ignoring Andy Murray? I mean, he's #3 in the world, has beaten Roger, Rafa, and Nole repeatedly over the past year, and very well may be in the mix to capture Wimbledon this year. AND it's the 75th anniversary of Fred Perry's (his sponsor!) first win at Wimbledon.
So why doesn't the British press write about him more? You'd think they'd be really excited and start blowing Andy's chances at Wimbledon completely out of proportion these days. But no.
I find it all very very very odd. You're really dropping the ball on this one, TimesOnline. And don't get me started on you,Telegraph. I mean, Jesus, look what they've done with Susan Boyle? Can't you throw some of that love over to Muzz. Do you even know he plays tennis?
