Much like The Might Fed, I am not exactly lamenting the end of the winter hard court season. Now back to Europe and on to clay, where according to some esteemed coaches, the real tennis gets underway.
And sure enough, the minute she touched the red dirt the Glitter Queen got happy and dusted Tranny 2 and 1. Though seriously, Tranny played like absolute shizz, yo. But JJ's movement on clay was nice to see. I forget how well she moves on that stuff, even when she's carrying an extra 60 lbs of muscle weight.

The "No Really, It's Just Like Clay" MPS Championships
Over in Ponte Vedra (thanks, Stella) Hubba Bubba, whose current #10 ranking totally boggles my mind, dusted Olga "C Note has marginally rational hate for you" Govortsova, 2 and 4. But the story of the day was Dani's three set win over Anastasija Sevastova. Dani dropped the first set but was up 5-1 in the third. Come on, SuperGirl. Unacceptable.
Play is continuing right now with Mono/Mattek just starting and Patty dropping the first set. But here are your scores so far.
