Thoughts:
- Here's hoping Lleyton is wiped from Houston and the trek to Monte Carlo. Me wants some Safin/Rafa action, though Maraski will have to go through Radek to get there. I dare Steps to try his antics around Marat. I've never seen a racquet busted over someone's head before. I'd like to see that beore Marat retires.
- Muzz and Rafa in the same half. Sad face.
- Every time I see Fer has a bye at a Masters tournament I do a double take and think, "Really? Is he *really* that good? Come on."
- Hoping Gilly can put in a good performance here. No reason he shouldn't make the quarters to meet Mr. Vavrinec.
- Because of Rafa's domination of clay I always forget who else is actually good on the surface. Plus, with the hard court hangover, it's hard to see straight. Monfils/Janko? Is that a good clay match? FeLo/Daveed? Ernie/PEHK? I honestly have no idea.
- How far can Stan go here? He plays reasonably well on clay and had a great performance in Miami. Can he give Mr. Mirka problems?
All I know is that I'm looking forward to having live tennis on TTC again, even if it's at odd hours in the night.
