    Czech, Czech, 1, 2

    Oof.  The Frenchies needed this one.  But Reeshie, making his Davis Cup doubles debut, and Michael couldn't get it done, dropping the doubles rubber to Byrd and Steps, 63 16 64 62.

    This of course leaves Gilles and Jo with a tough but doable task tomorrow.  Any other tournament you think Gilles can beat Steps and Jo can beat Byrd.  But this is Davis Cup, and Gilles already dropped his first match and is surely now feeling and understanding the pressure of playing Davis Cup.

    Me scared.
