Everytime I see George Bastl's name I think George Peppard. In fact I think I've answered trivia questions switching their names. Which of course would explain my shock that the guy that beat Pete on Court 2 at Wimbledon in 2000 is still playing.
Three notable stories here in Marseilles. First, The Falcon is back, stomach virus and all. Apparently Nole flew back to Belgrade after AO and basically had a House-ian physical to figure out what the eff is wrong with him physiologically. Apparently they didn't come up with anything yet. So the career retirement Slam is still in the mix.
Second, La/Le Monf was upset by fellow pastry PHM, who I am convinced would be WAY cuter if he put a few pounds. He looks gaunt this year. But it's working for him so go French-Guy-Who's-Not-Part-Of-The-Four-Muskateers!
Last, look who's got a win streak...
