Not too many people probably saw this match yesterday but it was quite gripping. Both girls showed a lot of heart and a lot of fight. But in the end Elena held it together and came up with the big shots, winning 67(3) 61 75. The girl just wasn't missing. Congrats to her on her first WTA singles final.
As for AKO, there was a lot to be proud of. She should leave Auckland with some confidence.
