It's so hard to combine the men and women into a single ranking list but it's fun to try I suppose. How can you say Serena's year was "better" than Nole's? That's tough. Clearly they've put a premium on Grand Slams, as the top 6 spots are held by this year's Grand Slam champs (Masha's at #11 because of injury I presume).
But come on. Did Ana really have a better year than Venus? There's an argument to be made there I suppose (she won a Slam and made it to a final, which Venus didn't do) but it sure didn't "feel" like it. Did JJ have a better year than Muzz? And there is NO WAY Kuz should even be in the top 20, let alone ahead of Nalby and Tabasco.
