Word out of Rafa's camp is that he's considering withdrawing from Shanghai. Why? Well it depends on who you ask. Rafa withdrew from his match with Kolya last week due to a thigh injury. Prior to that he had been complaining of a shoulder problem. He's also been complaining of exhaustion. Now, with Spain in the Davis Cup final being held in Argentina only one week after The Masters Cup, Tio Toni is advising his charge to skip Shanghai in order to be in top form for Davis Cup:
According to Rafa's site, he's back home in Mallorca. He'll make a decision this week as to whether he'll hop on a plane to Shanghai.
My advice? Get your passport ready, Gilly.
