Pete has a really interesting post on the Yin and Yang that is the Sisters Williams. It's been an interesting year for the two and I feel that this year, more than any other year, has really given them the opportunity to show their starkly different individual characters.
Serena will always be the kid sister, and Venus will always be the big sister. But clearly that psychology affects how they approach the game, their matches, their careers, and each other.
As a big sister myself, I can really appreciate the mentality that Venus brings. Thankfully my kid sister isn't the brat that Serena is, but trust me, she has her moments.
All that is to say, watching the Williamses grow up and have to navigate their intersecting lives and careers is just fascinating from a personal level.
And as the big sister, I gotta say: Go Venus!
