In the upset of the day, Tomas Berdych took out Crazy Train 61 64. Apparently JMDP had some sort of stomach virus and was running off the court to boot. But he got his legs back under him in the second set and all credit to Big Berd for staving off a few break points on his serve and finally holding for the win.
In Tashkent, Sorana Cirstea won her first WTA title, beating Sabine Lisiki 26 64 76(4). And in Metz, Dima gritted out a tough win over Paul Henri Mattieu, 76(8) 16 64.
