It must be Halloween because I simply do not understand what is going on today.
In the final match of a very weird day, A-Rod and Jo played a fairly high quality, very tight match. I was actually really impressed by the level of Andy's play in the first set. He served well and was absolutely solid. And then in the second and third he got a little timid and became somewhat predictable. That and a little controversy (I'll get to that in a separate post), was enough to give Jo the win, despite the fact that he wasn't playing at his best.
And with that, Commodus is out of the Race to Shanghai. Curiously, Blah is still in, and if he can beat Jo tomorrow, he'll book his ticket. How weird is that? Commodus out. Jo out. Blah in.
