Well after Serena's spectacular dumping yesterday, all was right in the world of Stuttgart. As expected, JJ, Dinara, Venus, and Bepa all won in very easy fashion. And as I predicted the other day, Nads is into the quarterfinals, beating Peppermint Patty 64 61.
Tomorrow is going to Jew. Say.
1. Dementieva vs. Azarenka
2. Li vs. Petrova
3. V.Williams vs. Safina (NB 17.00hrs)
4. Zvonareva vs. Jankovic
Anyone of those ladies can win their matches tomorrow. No result would shock me. But the cream of the match-up crop is the Venus/Dinara tete-a-tete. That's one's tough to call. Based on form, you gotta go with Dinara. But it's not like Venus has been playing like crap lately either.
