Roger has withdrawn from the next week's Stockholm tourney, saying that he needs the rest. I don't doubt that he needs it, but shouldn't this have come earlier in the year? Seems to me that his USO win has salvaged his season and he can now sit at home and rest, "content" that his season wasn't a total waste. So maybe he's has peace of mind now?
Dear Roger -- How about we compromise. 
TMF can stay home in Basel and drink 200 year old bottles of Bordeaux while dressed in a chic black turtleneck and blazer while lounging on his Scandinavian furniture as Wagner plays. 
But Crazy Eyez Fed has to book a coach ticket, fly to Stockholm, and swill beer during changeovers, plow through blond Swedish stewardesses for the week, and trash his hotel room while going on a drunken Hulk-like rampage. Oh, and win the tournament.
Yeah, I think I can live with that.
