    Trophy Hoister Sunday: Simon and Patty

    Gilles Simon (who continues to frustrate me because I can come up with a nickname that sticks) beat Carlos "Kurt Russell" Moya in straight sets today to defend his Bucharest title.  Yay Gilly!

    And Peppermint Patty showed teenybopper freshman Tamira Pazcek that she still rules the school, canning her with a 63 60 victory.  Pazcek has come up with some solid wins this season, but she doesn't seem to be able to have solid back to back performances.
