Congratulations to Andy Murray on his first Masters Final. He handily dismissed Dr. Ivo today 64 64. Interesting fact: Muzza has broken Dr. Ivo in every set they've ever played. That is a pretty shocking stat but I guess he just knows how to handle Ivo's monster serve.
With his final appearance, the Sulking Scot, currently ranked #9, will ascend a career high #6 on Monday. Let's face it, at this point, Murray is the true #4 in the ATP, not David Ferrer, Kolya, Roddick, or anyone else you can name. And good for him. He has a great game that's fun to watch and it's different from Rafa, Fed, and Nole's games.
I would not be surprised if he walks away with a bronze medal in Beijing. The kid deserves the success. He's worked hard for it and has had to endure the indescribable pressure of being the hope and face of British tennis.
And what a face it is. That boy is not easy on the eyes.
