    Beijing Medals Revealed. Made in China.

    Beijingolympicsmedals

    1) They look plastic

    2) Why is the silver medal taupe?

    3) Are athletes now competing for jade medals?  Seriously, why is the bronze one green?

    I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but these look horrible.  Especially compared to the medals used in:

    Athens

    Athensmedals

    and Sydney

    Sydneymedals

    Hopefully they look better in person.
